影片根据畅销同名小说改编。说的是一个叫西蒙的10岁男孩，自称自己的前世是个连环杀手，并且说出了很多发生在多年前和近期的案件，并且这种恐怖的事件仍在延续。今年围绕着孩子的惊悚题材电影不算少，可能因为这种影片总是会颠覆小孩在我们心中的定位，所以更平添了影片的吸引力吧。
