- 银光影片公司职员李薇聪明美丽，导演关鹏偶然将其发现，并让其担任一部新片的女主角。男主角汪景琦热情英俊，对李薇帮助颇大，二人渐渐相爱，关鹏见二人亲密情形十分嫉妒。景琦家中催他回去完婚，他决定回去退婚，二人依依告别。李薇凭新片一举成名，参加剪彩活动，家中突然失火成为废墟，母亲葬身火海。李薇悲痛欲绝，关鹏乘虚而入将其占有。景琦归来，李薇发现自己爱的还是景琦，她别无选择，最终跳下高楼。这时导演喊停，李薇款款而至，新戏《影城记》杀青。...
