有关戴安娜的纪录片也好、剧集电影的改编也罢实在是太过丰富，以至于有很多过往素材的重复使用，如果没能挖掘出新的内容，那反复揭开这段往事意义不大。或许唯一的优点就在于它提供了一份从当时的英国普通人出发去看王室这段秘辛的视角，很多历史事件下拍摄的镜头来自人山人海中，那份并不专业的抓拍，或者激动欢愉的神态，都在传递出关于ThePrincess所承载的重量。

- 豆瓣阅读改编，这两年也越来越多了。同样超出预期，比同编剧的《江照黎明》要好很多，合理扩充了本身篇幅很短的原著，但保留了内核。吴倩看得出来很用心在演，但效果一般（尤其是七年后的部分）。乔振宇巨大突破，虽然也演过反派欧阳少恭，但这种变态人渣的颠覆出演仍然出彩。胡意旋也表现蛮好的，李佳航之余就都是合理发挥，邓萃雯反而最差。很喜欢上下阙并行、一人两集的设计，剧里路人剧外观众的评论也显得极其讽刺。
