浪漫化了历史上心狠手辣的连环杀人狂，把一个连小孩都不放过的变态塑造成了隐忍忧郁的自卑之人。但编导演三位一体的RobertHossein也有聪明之处，他（略显粗暴）地将骇人听闻的罪行试图融进崛起的法西斯主义时代洪流，让危险的氛围更加浓烈。男主的表演是挺不错的，甚至算是我看过他好几部片子里表现最好的一次，但Marie-FrancePisier才是让人过目不忘的人。65
